BON Hosts Community Chat with ‘The Outside’

In July, nearly 50 members of the Black orchestral community–including freelance musicians, conductors, composers, educators, thought leaders, and many others–gathered to center on questions that will help determine how BON will function and serve your needs in the future.

Our first community conversation taught us that it is important and empowering to be in and have access to the BON space. A harvest report capturing the major themes from that convening is attached.

The Outside, a team of systems change strategists, has worked with us to create the report, and will again host and facilitate our discussion.   Below, we’ve provided a report that describes our findings and discoveries in more detail.
