BON 2026 SummiT

More than a conference. A community.

Join the Black Orchestral Network for connection, conversation, and a celebration of Black artistry in the orchestral industry.

The Black Orchestral Network Summit is back in Atlanta! Join us on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9 AM–5 PM at Atlanta Music Project for a full day of conversation, performance, learning, and community, with Black artistry, experiences, and leadership at the center.

The BON Summit brings together students, emerging professionals, veteran artists, administrators, institutional leaders, educators, allies, and more from across the orchestral industry.

And when we say orchestral, we mean the full breadth of our industry: musicians and professionals working across concert stages, pit orchestras, recording studios, higher education, arts organizations, and beyond.

What to Expect

  • Panel conversations addressing challenges facing our industry and exploring solutions

  • Live performance

  • BON’s Impact and Legacy Award presentation

  • A recorded segment of Black Music Seen, BON’s storytelling platform and living archive

  • Dedicated time to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships with colleagues from across the industry

This is a room, not a webinar. Come ready to listen, participate, ask questions, meet people, and be part of the conversation.

Who Should Attend?

The BON Summit is for everyone.

Musicians. Administrators. Educators. Students. Institutional leaders. Industry professionals. Allies. Whether you are established in the industry, just beginning your career, or interested in the future of orchestral music, you are welcome in the room.

Registration

This year, we’re introducing a small $20 registration fee to help us plan more accurately, reduce no-shows, and minimize food waste. Your registration includes breakfast, lunch, all-day coffee and tea, Summit programming, and a special BON Summit gift.

Under 26? Registration is free.

If the registration fee would be a barrier, you are also welcome to register at no cost. We want everyone to be able to join us.
